Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Site!

RER: Responsible Electronics Recycling

It is well documented that e-waste and HHW is extremely toxic when not disposed of in an approved manner. Our programs were conceived many years ago when it was noted that electronic waste or e-waste and HHW often found its way into landfills throughout Manitoba. Although there are several recycling programs available to Manitobans none specifically addressed these waste streams.

Our programs operate in conjunction with the Selkirk & District Community Learning Centre. The Centre has the facilities to act as an e-waste recycling depot for the Municipality as well as a pivot point for e-waste education in the region. Staff and volunteers at the Centre ensure e-waste is disposed of in a responsible manner.

e-Waste Recycling Study

We accept all electrical and electronic equipment, parts and pieces for recycling.  If you require pick-up services please call RER at 204 482.2111.  Our HHW depot is a 'full service' collection depot.  Visit the Product Care Manitoba website for complete details.
